I've begun blogging through this interview as a way of introducing people to Wright's thought:

http://mothwo.blogspot.com (and go to the "Tom Wright" label).

Dear Sirs:

I have tried to browse through some of the dialogues and have read quite a number of N.T Wright's articles due to my instructor's relatively decent regard for some of Mr.Wright's perspectives on the Historical Jesus.
But I have this question for Mr.Wright.You mentioned in your discussion above something like "...you are my beloved child in whom I am pleased..."
Doesn't this statement from God the Father apply specifically to Jesus(the New Israel par excellence)?
Secondly, from reading some of your articles I have started to develop this idea that you are trying to equate the individual believer and Christ as having the same ontological representation before the Father.I have observed this in quite a number of areas in your discussions on the New Perspecive on Paul.

For example it says in the Bible that we will all appear before the judgement sit of Christ...which shows Christ as the judge...

If this role of Judgement belongs only to God? and Jesus is God; and according to your theory where are we in the Trinity if we are ontologically tied with Christ? Are we going to be judges and at the same time be judged(let's say punished in our case)?

How can we possess God's attributes if we only are adapted sons? How can we equate the Father's love for His Son together with the God's love for us.Isn't there a difference?

Sorry for the short and poor inquiry.

Thank you all for this opportunity.

[...] Here is a recent interview with N. T. Wright by Trevin Wax at Asbury Seminary. Here’s a snippet, but the whole thing is really worth reading: As I’ve said before, God is going to fix the whole world. He’s going to put the whole world to rights. But actually, the advance plan for that is to put human beings to rights in advance. And when that happens, which is what happens through the gospel, it isn’t just, Phew! I’m okay now so I’m going to heaven! It’s I am actually being put right, in order that I can be part of that ongoing purpose. In other words, it’s both conversion and call, which as it was for Paul… converted to see that Jesus is the Messiah, which he’d never dreamt of before, called simultaneously ipso facto to be the apostle to the Gentiles. And in the same way, when the gospel reaches an individual, it is so that they can take part in God’s larger kingdom project. [...]
