maybe it’s just because my name’s not joe, but I thought obama nailed it. right down the last word. noble effort by mccain though. he was sharp but not sharp enough in my view.

Obama never had a response on why he did not keep his word on public financing and why he did not debate McCain more. Very revealing character issue. He had the deer in the headlights look most of the night and McCain had him on the defensive in this debate from start to finish.

I’m excited about Poll Daddy too!
The problem with last night’s debate, was everyone thinks McCain is too far behind. So Obama played safe and boring while McCain was trying to sway the undecided (! what 18 months of campaign & they are still clueless?) would-be voters.
That said, it was more interesting than the first two. I would like to see them have both the running mates and the candidates in one tag-team debate w/o a moderator.

I didnt see all of the debate but I thought that each of them made some frustrating comments. Towards the beginning Obama kept avoiding questions by saying, “I think what Americans want to know is how we are going to address our economic crisis” or something like that. Thats true but there are other questions to answer in the debate.
And McCain connecting Obama to that Ayers guy is just plain stupid and everyone knows its ridiculous.
