The Church at the Heart of Gospel Life

church

We are not saved individually and then choose to join the church as if it were some club or support group.

Christ died for his people, and we are saved when by faith we become part of the people for whom Christ died.

The story of the Bible is the story of God fulfilling the promise, “I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God.”

If the gospel is to be at the heart of church life and mission, it is equally true that the church is to be at the heart of gospel life and mission.

  1. Yes we are saved as individuals if any “man” singular calls on his name no-one can come with you to the cross you must go (alone) you aren’t born a christian Jesus calls “each” of us alone I don’t know why you mixed the people of Israel ie. ” my people” and the church up. I am the ecclasia the (church) I then enter the KINGDOM not the church. Jesus said “if any (MAN) wants to see or enter the KINGDOM (HE) must be born again I don’t know about you but most baby’s are born one at a time. Your doctrine is false you need to be taught again.
