Congratulations Jordan!
Just out of interest, Trevin, how many entries were there in the end? And did you learn anything about your readership?
Thanks for top class blogging
Merry Christmas everyone!

Including the bloggers who were able to enter their names 2 or 3 times, there were 1081 total entries.
According to the subscription information I received from the entries, it looks like most of my readers are in their 20’s and 30’s. I was surprised to see a good number that were in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s too though.
Most surprising was the number of readers from outside the United States. The addresses I received were also in Canada, the UK, South Africa and as far away as Singapore. A good number of missionaries also signed up.
I hope that the new readers who subscribed will keep their subscriptions. The nice thing about offering my 10 favorite books of the year is that the people most likely to be attracted to these books are the same people who will most likely benefit from the content on this blog.
Congrats again to Jordan, and glad to hear from so many readers!

Jordan,
Congrats! Trevin, thanks for your generosity.
Jordan, may this gift bring you not only a deeper understanding of God’s Word, but of His greatness, love, and mercy as well.
May he also use this gift to enable you to more effectively share the message of God’s merciful salvation with others.

Congrats to Jordan. I am half way through “The Reason for God” Brilliant Book. A couple of the other books are on my “to read” book list as well.

Jordan spoke at a gathering of church planters I attended a couple of years ago in West Memphis. I was happy to see that he received the books. I can still remember his excitement for church planting and love for Jesus in what he said to us. Congratulations Jordan!

Even though I didn’t win, I’m glad Jordan did. He is my former college minister, and I miss hearing him preach and seeing His love for God and His Word. I know he’ll put the books to good use!
