Wow – what a great quote from Luther. So very, very true. Do you happen to know the source?

Luther struggled with his narcissism and, I think, triumphed with the help of his gracious and loving Lord. Because of this, he was able to enlighten us in the process of salvation by faith through the grace and goodness of God.

Another great Luther quote! Thanks for sharing this. We recently watched the DVD, “Luther,” and though it may not be entirely factual, it was inspiring, nonetheless. I’ve come to appreciate, more and more, the printed Word I have in my hands, when I learn of the trials and challenges that Word went through to arrive here..today.
