A few words about us…
My name is Trevin Wax. I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. My wife is Corina, and we have two children: Timothy (5) and Julia (1).
The Lord has blessed our family by giving me the opportunity to serve the wonderful people of First Baptist Church, Shelbyville, TN as the Associate Pastor for Education and Missions.
I am currently finishing my Masters of Divinity at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY via the extension center in Nashville.
I have been blogging regularly at Kingdom People since October of 2006. I occasionally contribute articles to Christianity Today and other publications. Currently, I am wrapping up work on Holy Subversion: Allegiance to Jesus in an Age of Rivals, a book soon to be published by Crossway Books (click here for excerpts).
I received my bachelor’s degree at Emanuel University of Oradea, Romania, where I was involved in mission work in several village churches in the Oradea area from 2000-2005. (Click here for some of my reflections and recollections of this period of ministry.)
Every Sunday morning, I am privileged to teach a class of 20-somethings at First Baptist Church called LIFEPATH.
