My name is Trevin Wax. I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. My wife is Corina, and we have two children: Timothy (5) and Julia (1).
The Lord has blessed our family by giving me the opportunity to serve the wonderful people of First Baptist Church in Shelbyville, TN as Associate Pastor.
I have been blogging regularly at Kingdom People since October 2006. I frequently contribute articles to other publications, such as Christianity Today.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology from Emanuel University of Oradea in the country of Romania, where I was involved in mission work in several village churches from 2000-05. (Click here for some of my reflections and recollections of this period of ministry.) I received a Masters of Divinity at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.
Every Sunday morning, I am privileged to teach a class of 20-somethings at First Baptist Church called LIFEPATH.
